It's not often that I feel the need to express my sincere gratitude to someone for what I consider exceptional response and results.  This is one of those rare times that I do.

My 18-year-old son received a traffic citation for reckless driving and speeding...93 mph in a 70 mph zone!  He, of course, received numerous solicitation letters from local attorneys.  I honestly read them all, but only responded to one - the one from Todd Browning of Browning & Long, PLLC.  I was impressed with the way in which the letter was written, the fact that both partners had previously been Assistant District Attorneys and that the cost for their service was not mentioned in the letter.  I know that may sound strange, but I believe that you typically get what you pay for and when a low price is mentioned, the service and/or results may just not be what I'm hoping for - they're trying to lure you in with their price.

I called Mr. Browning early one morning on his direct number. I was connected with his voicemail, left a message and, to my surprise, received his return call in less than two minutes.  I gave him the specifics of the citation and my son's driving background.  He was very honest with me by telling me that he may very well not be able to get the citation reduced to the point that my son would have no insurance or driver's license points on his record because of the reckless driving, but he would try to do the best he could in order to reduce the damage as much as possible.

Only then did he mention the cost of his service.  I'll be honest, while the price we discussed was what I consider very reasonable, there were several letters that quoted a lower price.  However, again, you get what you pay for.  So I wasn't even tempted to call anyone else.

I completed the paperwork, emailed it to Mr. Browning and received a call from him a few days later.  To my delight, the outcome was much better than we had thought!!!  My son walked away with no insurance or driver's license points against his record!

I hope that I never have the need for their services again.  Just in case, I have input their number into my cell so that I can reach them if I do.  I won't even bother to look at solicitation letters again; I'll simply call them for their help!
